Water: the Most Important Source of Life












With his many years of research and clinical experience, a Japanese medical doctor wrote a book called “Died by Water,” emphasizing the importance of water. The Earth is a water planet, containing three quarters of the ocean. A human body also contains 70% of water. The modern medicine however does not focus much on the importance of water. It treats water merely as simple as a concentration regulating substance. Although the amount of water is related to heath, the quality of water does not seem to be a big deal. When some people suggest that “water is a key to health, and any roots of disease are greatly related to water,” the modern medicine’s first response to it is a big “NO.” The reasons of such a response are that none of the textbooks has ever documented it, none of the teachers has ever taught us about it, and none of the literature has ever recorded it. We also do not have any advanced equipment that can prove it.
There is indeed a common saying in Chinese, “seeing is believing.” Nonetheless, our human vision is limited. We have invented some tools to expand our seeing. Still, equipments are limited. Not all things are visible to us, and could be seen by us. As a matter of fact, there are many things and many unknown phenomena that we are not able to see and to explain in this world. To spare no effort to study science is praiseworthy; however, we cannot absolutely say “NO” to something when it cannot be proven. It is a responsible attitude, a scientific attitude.
From a scientific point of view toward the modern medicine, it has become a non-theoretical subject. Due to the restrictions of technology and pharmacy, it is difficult to discuss the roots of diseases in the modern medicine. As a result, it is sometimes helpless to deal with the modern diseases. Simply relying on surgery and the Western medicine is able to ease the symptoms and to delay the death; nevertheless, there is no guarantee toward health. The modern medicine clearly knows this situation itself. Therefore, the Chinese medicine, having the preventive medicine as its fundamental treatment, is slowly and quietly rising in the world. The key of life is the water. Currently, we have only found the liquid water existing on the Earth in the universe. When people are exploring the life of the universe, the first thing they have to do is to find out whether there is water on the other planets. That is to say, water is the origin of life.
Human beings are made from water: zygotes contain 90% of water, placental blood contains 80% and amniotic fluid contains 100%. A fetus is also developing in the water. Human beings are full of 75% of water, and their centre – the brain – also has 90% of water. In addition, 98% of the blood is made from water. In 1L of blood, there are about 80 kinds of 70-80g of protein that include antibodies, oxygen, and blood coagulation that contribute to hormones and immune function. Besides, glucose, amino acids, fatty acids, minerals, vitamins, and electrolytes are soluble in blood or other body fluids. These materials that constitute and is closely related to life must be dissolved in water in order to function properly. Those that are needless to human bodies must also be dissolved in water, excreting out via sweat, urine, and feces. As the ocean is an important factor in regulating the Earth’s climate, water is an essential substance in regulating body temperature. Water in human bodies is divided into “free water” that can be moved and “organization structure water” that cannot be moved; the ratio is 3/7. That is to say, suppose a person weigh 60kg, the body would contain 80% of water, and thus a total water volume is approximately 50L. Amount of the total “free water” – blood, lymph fluid, digestive fluid, tissue fluid, and cerebral spinal membrane fluid – contains 15L. In addition, the digestive fluid occupies more than half of the humoral fluid, and another approximately 5L is blood. Generally speaking, there is only one entrance for the body fluid – mouth; there are tons of exit all over the body. Breathing (0.15-0.5L/day) evaporating – sweating (0.6-0.9L/day); digesting –feces (0.1L/day); urinary – urine (1.8L/day). In total, there are about 2-2.8L of water excreting out of the body. Therefore, the amount of water intake should be between two to three liters daily for maintaining the healthy body.

The magic substance – water
When mentioning water, many people think that the chemical equation, H2O, can be represented… Wrong! As HDO and D2O all stand for a slight change in water, to represent H2O is also divided into 48 different kinds. Those existing in the nature contain 18 kinds. The researchers have discovered that the ratio of heavy water [D12O16] in the melting snow water of the local glaciers in Caucasus of the famous “Longevity Village” is less than elsewhere; however, the amount of heavy oxygen [H2O18] is more than other areas. Okahara Village in Japan is rich in trace elements and radium. What is considered as “good water” is characterized by its small molecules. Kazuhiro and Matsushita Electronics uses NMR (nuclear gas magnetic resonance) to test “good water” in Japan – Niimi Water, and discover only 77.8Hz in this kind of water. Similar to different individuals in human beings, the minerals and the magnetic in water have different properties at any place and anytime. Therefore, who drinks “what kind of water” is the most important topic.
About the medical questions – organisms have already had 3.5 billion years on Earth, and the emergence of medicine and human beings taking drugs have merely been 3500 years. That is to say, medical care accounts for merely the millionth of the historical lifetime. Besides, all organisms could survive and evolve without relying on doctors and drugs in other life historical time periods. Although human beings currently rely on antibiotics for reducing the bacterial infections from surroundings, organism tissues have become weaken and aged, leading to the poorer ability to self-heal and self-regulate the body interior balance; in turn, “modern diseases” are becoming more serious. These are slowly caused by the break-down of clean water from the industrialized societies. All life on Earth is formed by cells and tissues. And cells must be “bathed” in water in order to survive. Therefore, organism bodies are the water containers. Human beings’ and other organisms’ needs for survival (nutrition and calories) must turn food chyme into the soluble form in order to absorb. Waste excreting out from the body must also be the soluble form. Blood as well as lymph fluid which is responsible for transporting nutrition and waste is the soluble form. Clearly, what enters the body, what goes out from the body and what transports inside the body all rely on water. Secondly, none of our seeing, hearing, smelling and tasting not relying on water to help complete the process. These are why water is such an important impact on human’s survival and health.
The loop of water in the body is from the watery mouth via the esophagus into the small intestine toward the large intestine. The absorption takes place in the intestines and enters the vascular or lymphatic network, veins, heart, and arteries that carry oxygen and nutrients, travelling through every organ in the body as well as peripheral tissues, infiltrating into tissues, becoming tissue fluid and then releasing oxygen and nutrients as well as collecting waste and carbon dioxide that would be taken by capillary or micro-lymphatic network travelling back to the lung, the liver and the kidneys for toxin breakdown.
Cancer is the result of the disorder caused by water. In 1974, the American Physician, published that “the structure of water molecules around normal cells arrange in neat rows; nonetheless, the structure of water molecules around the cancer cells is unstable and disorganized.” The Korean Science Institute, Professor Kim has also proposed the similar argument: “The structure of water around the normal genes usually neatly lines up; the structure of water around the abnormal genes however has a disorder arrangement.” The Japanese water expert Hayashi stated that the disordered water molecules is not caused by cancer; rather, cancer is formed because of the disordered water molecules.
As every one has already known, human beings are able to survive without eating but drinking water for a week. However, it is difficult to have vitality if three days without water. The intake of water is a necessary factor for life sustaining. If one wants to live long and healthy, one must not only need water but also “good water.” What is considered as “good water?” Does the tap water count as “good water?” Don’t startle to hear this… what we usually drink (i.e. water) can actually shorten our lives, and this kind of water is a culprit of cancer growing.
Those who have reared fish all know that tap water should be put aside for a day when changing the tank water. Some tap water even has to be put into neutralizer before into the tank. The reason is that tap water contains chlorine used for disinfection. Adding chlorine into water can be considered as a masterpiece of modern science. It reduces the possibility to suffer from intestinal infection. Thus, tap water is widely used. Usually, there are two methods of tap water’s “sterilization”: before or after the water purification. Most countries choose “after” method to add chlorine for addressing pollution in the course of transmission. In Japan’s tap water management law, the minimum concentration of chlorine in tap water must maintain above 0.1ppm before reaching to the final consumer. In fact, the final chlorine concentration in tap water varies from place to place, country to county. Vancouver, Canada, has once had as high as 3ppm (or more) of chlorine concentration in tap water, even more than the standard level of pool.
After all, chlorine is a toxic element. When it kills harmful pathogens, it can also kill fish and our body cells. People often neglect this fact, however.
For most of the part, tap water alone is sufficient enough to kill fish. In contrast, human beings have the larger bodies, and mammals are hardy animals; they have a strong metabolism. Therefore, the toxicity of chlorine would not be immediately shown from the human bodies. It nonetheless erodes our bodies in an invisible form. According to the clinical study of the American Cancer Institute (American Journal of Public Health), at least 18% of colorectal cancer and 9% bladder cancer are directly correlated to chlorinated water.
Most people think that boiled water is the safest. It not only can kill all the bacteria, bust also can evaporate out of chlorine. In reality, this method is only applicable to rural area or water without chlorine. According to the report of Waterworks Bureau in Osaka, Japan, cancer-causing chlorine compounds 
in 100 degrees Celsius boiled water is 3.5 times higher than the normal chlorine compounds. Some people suggest that chlorine is evaporable. If putting tap water aside for a while, chlorine will be evaporated. However, water without chlorine is much easier to get contaminated.
There are at least 60 kinds of Toxic Substances in Tap Water
In 1974, the American found what is known as chloroform, a human carcinogen, causing the great social repercussions. “Because impurities (organic matters) in tap water react with chlorine, bacteria-killer, this reaction may lead to breeding of carcinogen – chloroform (a kind of trichloromethane) and carbon tetrachloride.” The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency launched a national-wide investigation on understanding the real state of substances in tap water. The results showed the reality of the situation, and had become a hot topic……

The U.S. government immediately started to improve the situation. They abandoned the old method of sand filtration and used the activated carbon for the better filtering system, greatly reducing the amount of chloroform in tap water.
This is why the water filters have become very population in Europe and the United States.
Japanese began to pay attention to the water issues after then, and had found even more terrible things. Not only was chloroform detected in tap water, but other harmful substances (more than 60 kinds) were also included.

What Makes our Water Become so Dangerous?
Acid rain from atmospheric pollution, factory drainage, detergent, as well as the extensive use of pesticides, fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other organic chlorine substances can all cause soil pollution, and groundwater pollution. Japan has tracked the study on 359 wells in Miyajou, Fuyama, Nagano, Kanagawa, Kyoto, Fukuoka and Kumamoto. The results have shown that 38 wells are more than WHO reference values, and more than 70% of well water exceeds the standard value. The maximum value is even 187 times higher than the regular concentration. Japan’s “Dukubai News” has once published “New Human Carcinogen in Groundwater” as a title, and reported as the following:
“According to the groundwater investigation done by the Environmental Agency, the suspected carcinogenic substances such as ethylene have been expanded, and the concentration has been increased. What is used as a semiconductor cleaning agents, trichloroethylene, have been infiltrated into underground. What is previously regarded as high-tech pollutants – TCE, PCE and other chlorinated organic solvents – have appeared in well water...... These are the alarming facts. Besides, ethylene is cancer-causing factor; the other two carcinogenic substances lead to liver disorder.”
As high-tech products increases, the environmental pollution also directly affect our quality of life.

Who is Responsible for these Pollutions?
It’s Human beings, ourselves! We use environmental pollution in exchange for the prosperity, and then we cause more serious pollution due to the prosperity. Therefore, changing these happenings must rely on ourselves.
How to Change? Return to the Beginning? Let Everyone to Give up the Modern Lifestyle? Stop high-tech development and production? …
These are unrealistic. The large environment cannot be changed by you or me personally. Then shall we wait for dying? Of course not. If I tell you that there is an easy way to do (i.e. as long as 1% of water can be kept clean, it can help maintain our health), would you believe it?
When turning on the tap, water runs out. People who are used to use tap water may not remember how much water they have been using every day. Indeed, to change all water is not a simple matter, not an overnight task. Nonetheless, statistics have proven that only 1% of tap water is directly related to our body (from the mouth into the stomach and intestines); the rest go into the sewer. Then, positively controlling the “entrance” (i.e. the mouth) and change this 1% of water to “safe water” is not impossible to realize.

Who Owns Health?
There may be some people disagree with the above findings by saying,
- “Do not listen to their words. There are so many people drinking tap water, and they are still alive.”
- “My parents drink tap water in their entire lives, and they are still very healthy!”
- “My parents drink tap water in their entire lives, and they are still very healthy!”
But please do not forget that the pollution has been sharply deteriorated in recent years. In the past, the older generation drank the “safer” tap water than now. The risk is still growing. When being sick, who suffers? It would not be doctors, the Burea of Waterworks, and water companies. Nor would it be drugs and supplements sellers. It would be you! It would be your family!
China has begun to implement the medical insurance system. Insurance companies may not easily negotiate like your original work unit. The original purpose of insurance is designed for pain relief from accidents, but it is now designed for those who refuse to take care of their own health. What a pity!

The Secret of Longevity
Good health and longevity is our goal. There are many places in the world known as “Village of Longevity.” The average of life expectancy is significantly higher there than the other areas. Most of people there are healthy, and centenarians are everywhere engaged in the actual work. The most famous Village of Longevity is located in the area of Caucasus, the junction of Europe and Asia. According to Dr. Ronald Herz in University of Pennsylvania, the area of Caucasus is the only place that has never had cancer happening; even the rate of adult diseases is very low. In addition, Birdha Bamba, the South America, Uighur region, China, Fenza, Pakistan, Otsuki City, Japan, and Yamanashi, Japan are all considered as Village of Longevity.
In order to find out the secret of longevity, World Health Organization and other health agencies all went and conducted the research. The results showed that nothing was special about food, beside climate and environmental factors. In the other regions with similar climate and environmental conditions, there was not so much longevity however. In the end, the investigators concluded a common phenomenon. They discovered that all people who live in Village of Longevity do not have constipation; their stool excretion is as “clean” as the baby’s stool. Another interesting phenomenon was that the “outsiders” who had lived in Village of Longevity for approximately ten days all excreted “clean” stool as the “insiders.” As a result, the investigators started to focus on the importance of water.

Corruption in the Intestines (Intestinal Abnormal Fermentation) is a Culprit of Disease
The study of intestinal microbes has been merely ten years. So far, studies have shown that our intestines are not just a smooth and clean tube. There are more than 100 kinds, 100 trillion micro-organisms that play important roles in digestion, absorption, and secretion of vitamins, hormones, and enzymes. Food and water enter from the mouth into the stomach, where they are digested, mixed with gastric acid, and become a semi-liquid chyme mixture. Based on peristalsis and contraction, gastric acid and pepsin help with the initial digestion of protein, and chyme would be sent into the duodenum for absorption. The adult small intestine is about 4 meters long, secreting about 2 to 3 liters of alkaline intestinal juice every day. Based on the intestine peristalsis, food and intestinal juice would fully mixed, making chyme constantly contact with the small intestinal mucosal surface for the better absorption. The small intestinal mucosa is very rich in capillaries. Nutrients from food must become the same osmotic pressure (i.e. the isotonic state) as the capillaries in order to pass the capillary wall into the intestinal capillaries and to complete the absorption process. The high concentration would suck out water from the blood vessels; the low concentration makes it difficult for nutrients to penetrate the capillary wall. Therefore, the intestinal microbial fermentation would use their capabilities to further break down the food chain, for reaching the isotonic state for more effective absorption.
The new health concepts are proposed – the amount of enzymes and the condition of fermentation in the intestines are all directly related to healthy longevity. However, our intake of lactic acid bacteria and Bifidobacteria, etc. are completely killed by chlorine in tap water, pesticides in food, insecticides, and herbicides. Rather than keeping the uptake, we should seriously protect our own body’s micro-organisms. Because our body micro-organisms are relatively fixed, too many of Bifidobacteria would be excreted out from our body after 24 hours.
Many people regard stool as a dirty waste, and would never face up with it. This is a huge mistake. Why? Stool is our body’s own waste; it indicates our current body state. People who have ever taken care of babies all have experience in this area. Well, how do these body wastes come from? Some people say, “isn’t it easy? They are food residue left after digestion and absorption.” This is half correct. Food residue is only half of our feces. The other half is our own intestinal material – microbes.
Intestinal micro-organisms do the alternative work, break down food, and produce enzyme, vitamins, and hormones. After their duty, they would then become metabolites and be excreted from the host (our body). If these microbes live in good body environment, they would be clean, no smell, soft and bright yellow when excreting out. Stool is able to float on the toilet water. If the environment in the intestines is bad, in contrary, microbes would change slightly, causing constipation, fart, diarrhea, bad smell and other phenomena.
Where does bad smell stool come from? When the intestinal environment is bad and microbes have abnormal fermentation, smelly substances, such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, amines, benzene and indole, will be produced. Theses substances are not only smelly, but also are carcinogenic poison.
Thus, please draw attention to look at your own stool. Stanch and dark stool indicates microbes in the intestinal environment have turned bad. If you have this indication in your stool, you need to quickly correct it because this is the beginning of any disease.

Five Kinds of Horrible Toxic Effect
How do five toxic effects affect health?
[Hydrogen sulfide] is a very smelly substance. It is the same smell when eggs turn bad. There was a tragedy took place in Cameroon, Africa, in August 21st, 1986. There was a toxic gas flowed out from the fire lake, causing more than a thousand deaths. This toxic gas was hydrogen sulfide. When the intestinal fermentation becomes abnormal, the body would produce this toxic gas. It will be absorbed by the intestinal wall and travel around the body organs via blood circulation. Over time, it erodes our health.
[Ammonia], not as smelly as hydrogen sulfide, does not smell better. When the intestinal environment is bad and protein cannot be break down completely, ammonia will be produced. This is also the main reason why fart stinks. Generally, the liver is able to detoxify after ammonia entering bloodstream. If the liver function does not function well, the concentration of ammonia in the blood would increase. When the concentration reaches to a certain level, it will disturb consciousness, ranging from anxious, irritable to comatose. This is what often called hepatic coma.
[Histamine] is also a production from microbes’ protein breakdown. This is the main reason of eczema, dermatitis, urticaria and asthma. When having allergy, people often take anti-histamine. However, if the intestinal environment becomes easier to produce this kind of toxin, then anti-histamine can only suppress but not cure the symptoms.
[N-nitrosoamine] is a well-known carcinogen. It is a microbe’s fermentation from nitrate and nitrite of vegetables, ham, sausage, and hair colouring, and it is an important trigger factor to gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and bladder cancer.
[Phenol] also known as carbolic acid is a main component of disinfectants. It is highly corrosive. As N-nitrosoamine, phenol plays an important role in the cancer process.
[Indole] is a stench of rotten onions. It is a main casual factor to leukemia, bladder cancer, and lymph node malignant tumors.
We should not ignore stench of stool. It does not only give us displeasure sense, but it is also a trigger factor to disease.

Theory of Secondary system
As everyone knows, vertebrates including human beings have their own liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys and other independent organs that are responsible for our daily digestion, absorption and metabolism. However, earthworms and other “lower-level” animals only have intestines yet not the other similar organs as liver, pancreas or kidneys. How do they carry out the function of digestion, absorption, metabolism or even detoxification?
In 1989, a Japanese doctor, Dr. Hayahi, published “Theory of Secondary system,” stating that there are micro-organisms habituating in the digestive tract and carrying the similar function as the liver. They are not yet formed as the independent organs. Similarly, micro-organisms that carry the similar function as pancreas and kidneys also play an important role in life activity. Most Western scholars agreed with Dr. Lin’s point of view. A well-known expert in microbiology even came up with an idea of taking out the part of microflora with a kidney function and then making it into drugs for people with low kidney function. Although the theory has been recognized, there are still some unsolved riddles – where do these microbes come from? How do they coexist with humans? Whether they can be broken down? … Even so, the importance of intestinal micro-organisms has been accepted and recognized by more and more people. The term “the disorder of intestinal flora” has been officially recoded in the Western medical dictionary.

Theory of Balance between Acid and Base
As we all know, food broken down in the body would certainly turn into acidic substances. For example, protein turns into phosphoric acid; fat turns into butyric acid, acetyl-acetic acid, lactic acid, and gluconic acid; even muscle produces lactic acid after the exercise. These acidic substances would accumulate in the body, turning body into more acidic. People with acidic body are easily to get cancer, diabetes, heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, allergies, and anxiety. These are known as “modern diseases.” Too much acidic food is the trigger factor of modern diseases. When acidic substances meet basic substances such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium, in the body, they would automatically combine into harmless substances and excrete out from the body. This is what is so called “Theory of Healthy Balance between Acid and Base.”
In fact, most delicious things such as fish, meat, rice, sugar, alcohol, etc. are acidic; kale, vegetables and tofu that are less likely to arouse the appetite are basic food. Some people think that things that taste sour are considered as acidic food. This is not true. Plums, limes and vinegar are all typical basic food. So how so we distinguish between acidic and basic food? The most accurate method is to burn food. If ash from burning contains more calcium and sodium, this type of food is considered as basic. Those that show more phosphorus and sulfur substances in ash are considered as acidic. In general, we can determine it according to the amount of calcium and phosphorus in food. Basic food contains more calcium and acidic food contains more phosphorus.
The mental stress is another important factor leading to acidic body. The research has demonstrated the following. When the external stress comes in, it signals to vice-kidney and pituitary via diencephalon, furthering secreting hormones and transmitting to other organs. At this point, if measuring the calcium concentration in the blood, the result must be lower than the normal value. In other words, the stress causes the drop of calcium in the blood, leading to the acidity of blood.

Theory of Free Radical
An atom is made from a nucleus and the surrounding electrons. Electrons are usually in even-numbered pairs so that the atom is stable. If electrons become an odd number, a collection of an unpaired election or atom is known as free radical. Electrons of free radical are unstable, and would continue capturing other electrons from molecules to maintain their own balance, further producing a series of chain effect. The first thing free radicals would attack is cell membrane. Cell membrane is composited from protein and unsaturated fatty acid. Free radicals turn unsaturated fatty acid into fatty acid peroxidation that would rupture cell membrane. Cell membrane would no longer have permeability. Free radicals would in turn damage DNA, microcondria, and lysosome, causing the erroneous protein synthesis, and ultimately leading to a serious illness.
The production of free radicals include various kinds of radiation rays, factory and car exhaust, too much amount of unsaturated fatty acids in food such as smoked products, potato chips and instant noodles, etc. Besides, lipid-lowering drugs, anti-diabetic drugs, sleep agents, and anticancer agents also help the production of free radicals. Mental stress has also been listed as one of the major causes of free radicals. The common free radicals include hydroxyl OH, super oxide-based H++O2, hydrogen peroxide H+ O2, and lipid peroxidation. The disorganized of water molecules is caused by free radicals in water.
Human beings have their own self-defensive system to resist to free radicals. The most representative is enzyme, and the liver contains the most of it. Minerals that help resist to free radicals include Vitamin A, C, E, B, etc.

What is Considered as “Good Water”?

2. Appropriate magnetized water:Any substance on the planet carries a magnetic. This is because the Earth itself is divided into North and South Pole; it is a huge magnetic field. The natural groundwater has a strong magnetic field due to the penetration of the stratum structure. In fact, magnetized water has a long history. The literature in the 13 century had been referred to the effect of magnetized water treatment. From the heavy industry, agriculture, the food industry, sewage management, to the pharmaceutical industry, magnetized water has a wide range of performance. Because magnetized water can double the power of dissolving, enhance the bacterial effects, and increase oxygen concentration, the surface tension, spread rate, and viscosity, magnetized water can produce quick results on human body. For example, magnetized water allow to lower cholesterol level and blood pressure, dissolve the stones, control diabetes, relieve asthma, regulate the abnormalities in the digestive system, enhance absorption, promote metabolism and lose weight. For smokers, magnetized water can remove nicotine and purify inner body. Thus, the efficacy of magnetized water can probably be attributed to modern people’s suffering from a “magnetic deficiency.” The Earth is an enormous magnetic field, and all life on the Earth is reproduced in this magnetic environment. The most basic life constitution shows that cells carry a weak magnetic field signal. In other words, the magnetic field is a prerequisite in the phenomenon of life. With the weakening of the Earth’s magnetic field and the popularity of the modern lifestyle, organism’s magnetic field nevertheless has been seriously interfered, resulting in organism’s own magnetic field disorder that is unable to adapt to the natural magnetic field and causing a lot of health problems. What is so-called the modern lifestyle refers to the increasing number of people living in reinforced concrete buildings, the increasing use of the electrical products (i.e. products made from electromagnetic wave), and the increasing variety of chemical fiber clothes that disrupt the normal bio-magnetic fields. These lead to a disorder of modern people’s own bio-magnetic field, causing the poor blood circulation and maladjustment in autonomic nervous system, and further triggering a wide range of diseases. 1. Water is not a drug or a supplement
